RIDE OPERATORS

We are looking for high energy, outgoing, fun individuals to join our Rides & Attractions Team. 

Our Ride Operators help our guests experience the adventures of the park whilst being safe., The minimum age for our ride operators is 16, and applications must have completed their GCSE's. 

No previous experience is necessary but personality is key – the rest can be trained! Lightwater Valley's ride training will ensure you feel confident and competent when operating the rides whilst following all the safety protocols. We want our staff members and customers to be safe whilst having fun. 
 

A typical day working on our Rides Team will involve:

Interacting and engaging with customers, you will ensure they meet the ride height requirements, and the ride is operated correctly as the health and safety of our visitors is paramount. 

Carrying out safety checks pre ride, ensuring ride seats are clean at all times and operating the ride as per the manuals and training. 

Report all faults and incidents immediately,

Delivering the best customer service to all our guests - always smiling and being helpful and making it your mission to deliver memorable experiences to every guest!

Ensuring your work area is kept tidy at all times and kept to the highest standard of cleanliness.

Dealing with any difficult circumstances that may arise in a professional and efficient manner, passing them onto your manager as necessary.

Ensuring you adhere to all company policies, guidelines and expectations.

We offer a thorough training program for our Ride Hosts and throughout the training you will be required to show competence and follow all the safety protocols. 

Hours

Start date - End of May, early June. 
Must be able to work summer holidays and October Half Term. 

Most of our seasonal roles are available on a full time and part time basis. A full time role is up to 40 hours a week, our part time roles are often 16 to 24 hours a week.
