Are you the next Jester & Jasmine?

Summer days out at Lightwater Valley

We want to bring two dinosaurs back to life to join our entertainments team this summer.

Jester and Jasmine – Lightwaxter Valley’s six-foot furry mascots – went into hibernation during the covid pandemic last year, but they’re poised to become a popular sight at the park once again.

Colin Bowes, general manager, said: “Jester and Jasmine never fail to put a smile on people’s faces and now that restrictions have been lifted, we are looking for recruits to bring them back to life and provide visitors with the warmest of welcomes.

“Jester and Jasmine’s main tasks include featuring in selfies, meeting and greeting younger visitors and generally overseeing the enjoyment of all our guests to Lightwater. The roles are a crucial part of the park’s entertainment so it’s quite a demanding job and we need some pretty special people to take on the challenge.”

The Park will be celebrating a Summer of Fun during the school holidays with a series of brand new themed games and attractions from 19th July to 12th September.

Anyone interested in applying for the roles of Jester and Jasmine should email [email protected] with a short resume about themselves. Closing date for the roles is Friday 23rd July.
