The Lightwater Wheel
If you're looking for a relaxing post-lunch ride then look no further than Lightwater Wheel. Newly installed for our 2008 season, this ride is situated on the banks of our wonderfully picturesque lake and is designed to be a ride for the whole family where Mum, Dad and the kids can spend some quality time together. From the top you get to see some truly amazing and panoramic views of our 175 acre park and the surrounding North Yorkshire Countryside.
The ride utilises the old Toad Hole water chute by pumping water down the ramp, under the ride and out into the pond to give the impression that the wheel is powered by water.
