In the grounds
of the Lightwater Country Shopping Village you'll find the awe-inspiring
Bird of Prey Centre. Established to raise awareness of a wide selection
of breath-taking birds this facility offers truly unique attractions.
As well as having possibly the largest golden eagle in England, they also demonstrate every aspect of the birds' life and care. Visitors also have the opportunity to see how birds are trained and handled, and there are regular flying displays. Also keep your eyes peeled for out latest additions - the Wallabies!

Also within the Bird of Prey Centre is the Creepy Crawly Cave - feel the shivers down your spine as you come face-to-face with snakes, a tarantula, frogs, toads, rats and even Australian Bearded Dragons! Plus are you brave enough to handle Murphy the 10 foot Burmese :
