Lightwater Valley Rides
With over 40 rides and attractions for thrill-seekers of all ages, from mini adventures and mega adventures such as Eagle’s Creek Farm and the Ladybird Coaster to ultimate adventures such as Whirlwind and Eagle’s Claw, Lightwater Valley Theme Park is Yorkshire’s ultimate adventure and a great value day out the whole family can enjoy.
We’re famous for being home to the longest roller coaster in Europe – The Ultimate, but we’re also renowned for our awe-inspiring falconry displays, superb magicians and over 175 acres of lakes and parkland, so your day at Lightwater Valley can be as relaxed or as action packed as you want it to be.
Don’t forget Lightwater Valley has the UK’s largest Angry Birds Activity Park, with over 30,000 sqft of interactive adventure play. There’s plenty to explore including pig tunnels, tube slides, climbing walls and huge touchscreens in which to play the classic Angry Birds game. There’s also an Angry Birds Space zone designed with our younger guests in mind.
To help you make the most of your day out, our rides, attractions and shows are categorised by height and split into three distinct groups:
- Mini adventures for riders under one metre in height;
- Mega adventures for thrill seekers over one metre in height;
- Ultimate adventures for adrenaline junkies over 1.3 metres in height.
Individual ride and attraction heights do still vary, so we suggest downloading a copy of our theme park map before visiting and familiarising yourself with our exact ride heights. This way, the kids can plan their own itineraries and you can avoid any tantrums on the day.
