Set in 175 acres of gorgeous North Yorkshire parkland, Lightwater Valley Theme Park is home to over 40 thrilling rides and attractions for kids of all ages!
As one of the finest theme parks in the UK, the line-up comprises some amazing rides, including Europe’s longest rollercoaster - The Ultimate, as well as the stomach churning, mighty Eagle’s Claw and the splashtastic Wild River Rapids. Plus, new for the 2010 season, a once abandoned mineshaft has been re-awakened … feel the terror as you enter the abyss of darkness that is the subterranean underworld of Raptor Attack – our brand new roller coaster experience.
To assist our guests in making the most of their day at Lightwater Valley, we divide our theme park rides into 3 distinct categories:
Nippers (Action and mini-adventures for our younger guests under 1m)
Whipper Snappers (Exciting Family Rides and attractions for all those thrill seekers over 1m)
Jaw Droppers (Big thrill rides for anyone with the nerves to face up to the challenge)
