There are so many awesome things to see and do at Lightwater Valley that we want to make sure you get the most from your day, so here’s our quick six step guide!
Step One – Book Online!
Thinking ahead and booking through our website guarantees you entry for only £19.50 per person – that’s a 30% saving on our full adult ‘pay on day’ price of £28.00. Online bookings close at midnight for the following day.
Step Two – Arrive Early
Lightwater Valley opens at 10:00am, but you can enter the car park from 9.45am, which gives you plenty of time to find a good spot and to get your brood ready to enter the park. The car parking is completely free and we have designated areas for coach parking and disabled parking at the very front of the car park, just 300 yards from the theme park entrance. Fairground rides operate from 10:00am with all major rides and attractions from 10:30am.
Step Three – Must-Try Rides
We recommend familiarising yourself with Lightwater Valley before you arrive by downloading a copy of our theme park map and looking through our selection of rides. Please take special care when looking at the height restrictions for individual rides.
Step Four – Lunch
There are plenty of places to grab a bite to eat throughout the park so you can cram more into your day by saving the time it takes to make, unpack and clear away a picnic by letting us cook for you. From traditional fairground treats including candyfloss and doughnuts to light bites and full meals, whatever tickles your taste buds, you’ll find something to satisfy at Lightwater Valley.
Step Five – Lightwater Valley Falconry
In the afternoon you can let your lunch settle and check out the live Birds of Prey Shows at our on-site Falconry centre, held daily during theme park opening dates.
Step Six – Heading Home
Our closing time depends on how busy we are & varies between 4:30pm (during quiet periods) and 6:00pm (during peak times). We recommend getting in touch the day before your visit and we’ll be able to give you an indication.
