The brand new Lightwater Valley Theme Park summer TV advert is now showing on our theme park YouTube channel. Showcasing our three awesome new attractions for the 2013 season - Angry Birds Activity Park, Eagle's Creek Farm and Lightwater Valley Falconry - the new 30 second advert will be playing across ITV Yorkshire and Tyne Tees from Wednesday 19th June. Yorkshire Tourism Bonanza!
News that the Tour de France will be starting in Leeds next year has been credited with sparking a Yorkshire tourism boom at the start of this year. Despite freezing temperatures, the county enjoyed a 47 per cent rise in spending between January and February compared with the same period last year, according to the Great Britain Travel Survey. Angry Birds Activity Park Now Open!
Lightwater Valley theme park in Yorkshire has launched a new Angry Birds Activity Park - the largest in the UK. Covering more than 30,000sq ft, the £1m facility opened on 25th May and includes indoor and outdoor play areas. The attraction has been designed and supplied by the UK arm of Finland-based play equipment group Lappset. Read More
Hatching Date for Angry Birds!
The ever popular Angry Birds are due to hatch here at Lightwater Valley Theme Park on Saturday 25th May, after months of labour and over £1 million of investment. As only the second Angry Birds Activity Park in the UK, the site will cover over 30,000 square feet and has been designed and manufactured by Lappset UK. Read More
