Buffalo Express
This miniature railway is designed with our younger guests in mind and is themed around the Wild West, providing a gentle introduction to thrill seeking in the shadow of our landmark Skeleton Cove pirate-themed area! This mega Wild West adventure has introduced plenty of little devils to the junior thrills on offer at Lightwater Valley, with many Buffalo Express graduates moving on to our bigger roller coasters and thrill rides in future seasons.
Set against a menacing backdrop of The Black Pearl, the marauding pirates of Skeleton Cove rarely invade the Buffalo Express track (well, maybe during Swashbuckling September or Frightwater Valley) and, if you’re looking for other junior attractions in this area of the park, we recommend checking out the Pirate Swinger and Skull Rock in Skeleton Cove, as well as the Flying Camels and Caterpillar Coaster (but please remember that height restrictions apply as we don’t want any disappointed faces).
